Minnesota GeoServices, Inc. offers cone penetrometer testing (CPT) services featuring a new (2005), state-of-the-art CPT rig manufactured by A.P. Van den Berg of Holland. Our field staff are highly skilled professionals with decades of geologic consulting experience on complicated field projects. We are proud of our commitment to excellence: our goal is to provide our clients with the  highest quality field data possible. 

Our services include downhole seismic and standard piezocone penetrometer testing, including tip friction, sleeve friction and pore water pressure, with specialty cones available for soil conductivity profiling.

In additon to this equipment our CPT rig is equipped with integrated rotary drilling capability for hard layer access drilling (asphalt, caliche, etc.) and rock core drilling up to approximately 60 feet of depth. Our rig is extremely versatile and well-equipped to provide flexible solutions to your field investigative needs.

In addition to CPT we perform soil sampling and water sampling for both geotechnical and environmental site investigations.

We are located in Saint Paul, Minnesota and our primary service market is the central U.S. region, although we can mobilize our equipment nationwide or for international projects.
