Winter in Minnesota
So winter is now fully engaged in the upper midwest! We've already had several sub-zero (farenheit...) days and nights and the snow is really drifting up. But that doesn't stop us, in fact, it often is easier to access sites when the ground is frozen than when muddy. Here are both of our rigs working on a single location on the Elm Creek II wind project near Jackson, MN. One rig is pushing a seismic shear wave sounding, the other is pushing a vibrating wire piezometer.
